I will be dismantling this website

I will be destroying this website in the coming days for a new update and a new site design.

Safe for work, sort of. Just be careful of attracting wild bossesorusous that may appear if you release your laughter scent (“some Pokemon joke I’m trying to make (:”).

New Logo for Game Development / App Development!

These are two logo designs I came up with. Both of these took about 45 minutes to make a piece. Though, the main logo is the same while the backgrounds have different items and are different. Such as ; a rocket flying in the background with a space shuttle for the darker version, and moving clouds in the light one.

The logo inspiration stems from the trend of designs utilizing triangles and lines to cut up shapes. Along with Futurama’s latest episode : Over Clocking. –Where, Bender says: “I have broken the equilibrium of singularity FRY.” The logo symbolizes an eyeball where half of it is a human eye, while the second half of it is a cyborgs eye symbolizing the day of age we live in. Most of us can’t go a day without technology, checking Facebook, or Tweeting our latest and greatest thought. Thus, the creation of this logo came to be through inspiration of Omicron Persei 8.

–Who knows, maybe I’ll design vibrant logo design templates for free so you guys can use em’ for your projects.

Post Mortem : Zap Zap Unicorn.

Zap Zap Unicorn was a game that I developed in Flash for school. Whereafter, I continued to work on ZZU for about two months developing and making ZZU a mobile game on Adobe AIRS mobile framework, –and well, a polished game. It somewhat manifested it self into a monster consuming a lot of my free time and always being on my mind around the clock. After about three months of working on and off for ZZU I decided to release Zap Zap Unicorn July 25th. Which was formerly called The Magical Fruit Zapping Unicorn and put it on the app store after I decided to rename the game to Frutti Tutti Zapping Unicorn.

This was my first mobile game that I produced and well I’m pretty stoked on it. After coding over 5,456 lines in AS3 and producing all the art assets, and the sound effects I had garnished a collection of over 600+ images within a time period of 3-4 months. Where, realistically the total time for developing this app would be about 200+ hours in the AS3/AIR version. That version only used around 105 images where the rest where images that were reiterated upon each other to get the final look. I can safely say that this project was a enduring project of mine where it was a lot of work, but it was fun work.

The design behind ZZU was a challenging one. From the conceptualization of this idea I had so many sporadic ideas that it really didn’t make sense to me to make a game involving a unicorn and fruit. The challenge was to develop a game with an iconic look. So I decided to just do what I do best, and design the game utilizing a mixture of colorful design with a minimalist kind of feel. As a graphic designer on the side, I decided to utilize these skills of mine to form ZZU’s identity. ZZU started out as a platformer involving a penguin, a polar bear, and well a unicorn it self. The premise of the game was to be a game that borrowed from Solipskier and Gnarshmallow but with a wacky feel. After sitting on the idea , I decided to revamp it and finally come up with this concept.
